Day 2 of 21
The anxiety killer #1 in the life of a Christian is prayer. Paul reminds us
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"(Philippians 4:6-7.)
Prayer leads us to a place of rest. It is the place where we rest from our fears. Fears occurs when something we love or treasure is being threatened. I want to challenge you today to surrender whatever “treasure” you have to the hands of God. Leave it in the care of Jesus. The apostle Peter call us to
“cast all your anxieties upon him” (I Peter 5:7.)
Let faith arise and fear be scattered. Trust in God’s everlasting care of whatever you care about today. He is faithful to the faithful. He will bring the peace and serenity you need today as you rest your heart in Him. During these 21 days of prayer and fasting, purge out all of the anxieties in your life. Don’t allow anxiety to choke up God’s promises and Word in you.
Declare today your victory over anxiety. Stop trying to control everything and surrender to the purposes of God. God’s purpose will be done in your life. His will be done, regardless of what you are facing right now. Stop interpreting every obstacle as your enemy, but discern it as an opportunity to grow and become stronger in God.
His grace will be sufficient for whatever is trying to pressure you down!
Hope you had a great Day 2!!!
Have a wonderful night.
