Day 19 of 21
Day 19 ... thank God...
Nearing the end of a long fast like this 21 days can be as challenging as the start. The thoughts of Saturday/ Sunday’s meal can capture and hold our thoughts. For some of us dragging ourselves across the finish line is as good a plan as any.
Consider this two days out:
Revelations 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
I have come to understand something about myself. I have to push myself to be sure I don’t miss out. Pushing past the natural inclination to wind down or mentally move to the next task at the end just may be the key to a next level of blessing. While we think out our after fast plans let’s not miss the blessing through this fast for this day.
There is an outpouring waiting for those that endure to the end all while keeping our eyes on the prize. Through this fast God is moving some hindrances, equipping us more and pouring out in ways there are no words for. I have been extremely blessed and look forward with eager anticipation for what God will do today.
On day 19 let’s thirst for God in the same way we did in day 1. Two more days means two more opportunities to hear/ receive from God in a way that only happens in times of fasting. Let’s be available when He’s ready to do the miraculous.
